i have had this phone for a few months and its awesome, its simple, but thers alot of things you can do on it! i was very impressed with the grat quality pics BUT one day, right before i needed to record something, i pressed the camera button and it told me ” camera star error” so i took out the battery, turned it off, nothing. nothing i tried worked? im not the only one who has ahd this problem but its very confusing. iv heard that pressing the lens down (becasue its out of place)and by pressing it should work again. For me though, it didn’t. Iv asked everyone i know and cant figur out the answer! any ideas? ( oh and cant go to the verizon store so, yeah)

i got it and i hate i it was a waist of my money and i had like 4 and they all got messed up it sucks DONT BYE IT its not worth it

The date and time on the front screen just disappeared, and I don’t know how to get it back on there. I went to the Clock WI setting, but don’t have an external clock setting, just an internal. Any suggestions

Well I have had the enV since June of 09′ & I am very unsatisfied! I have gone through 3 so far because of the glich in the software & one of them the “r” stuck. Now I am waiting for my 4th replacement & I am ready to get rid of this phone!!! I have had a terrible time with it & ready to go to something else!!!

If you go to your messages and click on the drop down menu on the top right. Then click on settings, select messages view and choose the Contact option, your text messages will now be organized by contact. So, when you get a new message saying “Yes”, you can now look through the entire conversation of messages between the two of you before you reply. I hope that helps!

I don’t know if there’s a way to set it as a default, but…

When you have the text message open, click on the top right corner and it will drop down a list of options – select “Reply with copy”

Is there a way to set in messages to display the prior message when replying? I hate getting messages a day or two later that just say “Yes”. I would like to see part of the previous message. Any way possible?

Speaker mode can be enabled w/phone closed…after a call is made, the dial pad activates, then touch the square white menu on the bottom right corner, the ’speaker on’ option is there.

Yeah… I saw some features not present in the EnV Touch: FM radio and something else I can’t remember that is present in the Chocolate Touch. But at least, it lacks the QWERTY keyboard that the EnV Touch does, so that’s why I’m sticking with the EnV Touch. STill a great phone, though! :-D

I think that depends on whether or not you open or close the phone… either way, the pictures (and videos) show up on either side of the phone from your viewpoint.

Wow.. lots of comments on here! Ha ha… anyway, got another problem here: I own Windows 7 (64-bit) Ultimate Version… of course, the phone came shipped with the USB micro-B cable. So… I bought a bluetooth dongle a couple of months ago or so.. trying to let it communicate between computer and my phone through BitPim software. Well, I’ve tried several comm ports (5, 7, 9, etc…) and none of them works. What gives? I’d like to back up my stuff over Bit Pim in case I lose or someone steals my phone. I’ve also read their help manuals (which they were good), but still doesn’t help me communicate from all communication mediums. Any ideas? Thank you very much! Help is much appreciated! :-D

I want to put audio books on my Touch but when i sync them the file names change and nothing is in numerical order like i have in in my media player. anyone know how to keep the file names from changing?

Enjoy your Env touch. I loved mine, then alltel sold to Verizon and I had to switch companies…and now I can’t get one cause AT & T doesn’t have them.

I used the card from my razer and had the same problem. Try taking a photo with the env and save to card put it in your computer and see where that photo saved to. I had to drag all of my old pics from a differnt folder on the card to where the new photo was saved and it worked fine.

I have the LG enV Touch & have not been able to figure out if the phone can be put on speaker phone mode without opening it. Does anyone know whether the phone can be put on speaker phone & have it closed?
