Yup you are correct, the API change occurred about an year ago. It was soon fixed after I wrote this article. Bug Me Not works perfectly today and is a great tool. However when I did post this article about one year ago in January 2006, I do believe there was a temporary issue.</description>

That's news to me, and I'm the extension developer in question. The Bugmenot site changed its API ages ago, but everything still works fine... I just tested the New York Times a minute ago and got logged in with no problems.</description>
