There's a Firefox extension called "sessionsaver" that saves all the open tabs before closing the browser. It also saves cookies, passwords, etc.

oh come on... this is an old one. Beside that it slows up your surfing experience (except if you use toolbars for searching). IMHO best practice for using this tip is making out a shortcut with multiple urls. The only problem is the lenght of chars in the shortcut is omitted

One thing to remember though - and it's probably stating the obvious - but if you click the "Home" button, you open up all the "home" windows again...

Other than that, nice tip - cheers!

nice tip, saves me a lot of time. another way to do this is just to open a few tabs that you would like to be your homepages then just go to tools -> options -> use current pages. if you do that then you will not need to type in all the urls. great blog i just added it to my bookmarks.

P.S. your on lifehacker

Wow,
That's really impressive, I use a couple of server based apps (it's internal) and you have just saved me going to the open bookmarks in tabs thing ( which I always forget.

thanks
