SuprNova: Lite ??? 0

Now that SuprNova.org is gone, everyone needs a new source to get their files. So I found a new site which was even better until it also got taken down. Anyways the creators SuprNova have created a new p2p/bittorrent programm called eXeem. It works like Kazaa does so you can make searches directly from the program, but you can also launch the downloads from websites. I have included links to the best “SuprNova” like sites below.

Cerulean Studios announced Trillian 3.0. This all in one chat client can replace Yahoo, MSN, AOL, ICQ, and IRC. This program comes adware and spyware free. Paid version supports video and audio chat. To download see Downloads Page. This program is more powerful, stable, and looks way better than Gaim. Only problem with this program is the fact that it is very slow.

MSN Desktop Search 0

I just tested the MSN Desktop Search Toolbar Suite. The program might actually be better than Google’s Search. Only problem is that it takes a very long time to index files. The Web Search is also combined with their New MSN Search. The program is also nice because you can search directly from your taskbar. It also searches through MS Outlook. Other Features include: Autofill, Popup Blocker, Password Manager, and Page Highlighter. Also can search from 3 places such as the taskbar, any explorer window, or from internet explorer. http://desktop.msn.com

TiVo Java HMO 0

Java HMO has released v2.0 of their program which replaces TiVo Desktop. It includes many new features with a nice GUI. Can now view images in any format, Play Mp3s w/ tag info, listen to streaming radio stations, allows playslits, view weather conditions (5-day, local, and radar images), movie listings, internet images, live destop images, stock quotes, iTunes support, read email, RSS feeds, and more. After a long time Mozilla finally released Thunderbird 1.0. This is a great replacement for Outlook Express. It has built in spam filtering, message search, encrypted messages, and a RSS reader. This was reviewed on TechTv and recieved amazing ratings and best of all it is completley free and opensource.
